L’UGAB a lancé dès 2021 une colonie pour les enfants victimes de la guerre en Artsakh. Le Camp Nairi leur permet de bénéficier d’activités en plein air dans un espace convivial, encadré par des professionnels expérimentés en matière de santé mentale. Tout au long de l'année, l’UGAB organise des événements pour ces enfants.
In 2024, the AGBU-Claudia Nazarian Medical Centre has been at the forefront of providing vital healthcare services to displaced Artsakh families. From January to August, the center has seen a significant number of patients benefiting from specialized medical care and consultation. Key specialists include cardiologists, ophthalmologists, gynecologists, ENT specialists and pediatricians. The center also addressed mental health needs, with psychologists assisting a substantial number of individuals. Overall, the center handled over 1,700 patient visits across all specialties, ensuring comprehensive healthcare support for those most in need.
AGBU LEAP (Learn to Earn Artsakh Program) AGBU LEAP is a dynamic professional development initiative dedicated to providing displaced Artsakh refugees with professional consultancy, guidance, reskilling, and upskilling opportunities. In line with educational prospects, participants will actively engage in AGBU job fairs, designed to connect them with employment or self-entrepreneurship possibilities. The program is open to our compatriots from Artsakh, aged 18 and above. The program offers IT, accounting, marketing, HR, business support, sewing, cooking and confectionery, agricultural and financial literacy courses, music and art therapy, as well as English skills for employability opportunities. Networking and soft skills programs are ongoing, with career and job fairs planned for Yerevan and regions. As of August 2024, over 730 people benefited from the program.
Launched in 2019 in Artsakh, the program helped locals with a variety of educational backgrounds and skill sets to improve their livelihoods, advance their careers in key industries, and compete in the regional and global economy.
